Students Kick off Clinical Rotations in Sports Medicine

South Pasadena High School advanced sports medicine students are thrilled to kick off their clinical rotations with the SPHS after-school Athletics Program. Under the expert guidance of Athletic Trainer Mike Lee, these dedicated students are now actively involved in a variety of essential roles, including game setup and breakdown, taping and wrapping athletes, providing triage and wound care, evaluating injuries, and assisting with therapy and rehabilitation.

By the end of the year, SPHS students will have logged a minimum of 30 hours of patient care experience, significantly enhancing their skills and preparing them for future careers in the medical field. Join us in celebrating the dedication and hard work of our young athletes and sports medicine students.

Go, Tigers!
