Congratulations to SPHS senior Annette Woo who served as the California State President of the Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA). Woo led the California designation of more than 195 chapters and 6,500 members during the 2022-2023 school year. Her duties included presiding over all of the state vice presidents at monthly meetings, serving on state committees, and working as a liaison to the board of directors. The California Department of Education CTE Department also nominated Woo to represent FBLA as a Presidential Scholar.
In addition to her work with FBLA, which has been on-going for the past three years, Woo has been actively involved in the SPHS Virtual Enterprise program competing as part of the varsity teams. Woo also completed the SPHS Entrepreneurship Pathway and participated in the SPHS Internship Program with two different companies, working in marketing and banking.
FBLA is the largest business career technical student organization in the world. The organization prepares students to become community-minded business leaders in a global society through relevant career preparation and leadership experiences.
