During the week of March 21, 2022, the SPUSD Health Team screened more than 1,600 SPUSD students at all five schools for vision and hearing aptitude. The annual assessment tested grades TK, K, 2nd, 5th, and 8th for both vision and hearing and 10th graders for hearing only. The team also screened students who receive support services for both vision and hearing.
Thank you to the parent volunteers who assisted the team. SPUSD worked with nine optometrist parents who generously donated their time and services helping the testing run quickly and efficiently. SPUSD appreciates all of your support.
