Returning Students » High School Information and Forms
Important 2010-2011 Registration Information:
 
Every year we have registration for all students, new and returning, a few weeks before school starts. New students to the District in 9th, 10th, 11th or 12th grade, who have not already pre-registered at the High School for the 2010-2011 school year need to contact the Registrar, Ms. Rebecca Quinones at 626-441-5820 X2906 to make an appointment for their pre-registration.  This service is available through the end of July 2010.
 
High School Registration will take place on Monday August 23rd for Seniors and Juniors, and on Tuesday August 24th for Sophomores and Freshman.  School begins  on August 30, 2010.
 
When you pick up your packet at the high school office, it will be much smaller than in years past. In order to save paper, some of our registration documents are online, and we ask that you view the online portion of the registration documents by clicking the links below. After reading the online documents, please sign the “Information Acknowledgement Form” that has been provided in your packet (and, for your convenience, online).
 
Packets must be picked up by August 20th, 2010.  Please note that this is not the same packet as the one you completed for initial enrollment at SPHS. On August 23rd & 24th, students will have their ID pictures and yearbook pictures taken, hand in registration materials, and pick up their class schedules. 
 
When your students register on August 23 (Seniors and Juniors) and August 24( Sophomores and Freshmen), they need to bring:
 
     1. A signed copy of the “Information Acknowledgement Form” with parent/guardian signature, and

    2. All mandatory enrollment documents as listed in your child's registration packet.

SPHS Documents
 
Registration dates are August 23 and 24. On Monday, August 23, seniors are scheduled for the morning, juniors in the afternoon. On August 24, sophomores are scheduled for the morning, while freshmen are in the afternoon. More specific times are included in the registration packet. Registration will include textbook checkout. After receiving the locator card listing courses and teachers, students will check out their textbooks at the textbook windows. Textbooks will not be checked out during class time once school begins. Additionally, the textbook room is not open after registration until school begins.
 
As a reminder:
If your current South Pasadena residence is different than your address of record as printed on your Student Demographic Update Form, please provide new proofs of residency, which must be original and current with the parent/guardian’s name and address on them. Bring one document from each of the following three categories:
1. Deed of trust, mortgage payment receipt, rental agreement listing all residents, property tax bill, or closing escrow papers.
2. Gas bill, electricity bill, water bill, Time Warner cable bill, or residence telephone bill.
3. Current car registration, car insurance statement, health insurance statement, current bank statement, pay stub, or current federal or state tax forms.
